Roll out the puff pastry in a buttered pie dish, prick the pastry with a fork and place in the fridge.

Cut the leeks into thin strips and chop the onions.

Fry in the butter for around ten minutes.

Cut the slices of ham into strips.

Mix the eggs, milk and cream in a bowl. Season lightly with nutmeg, salt and pepper.

Remove the pie dish from the fridge and cover the pastry with the leek, spread with the ham and then the grated cheese. Add the contents of the bowl.

Preheat the oven to 185°C and bake for 40 minutes.
