The N°1 Alpine Cheese
Floral by nature
Know-how
From milking the cows to pressing the cheese, there are a number of stages to ensure that the milk from the high altitude is sublime.
Life on the mountain pastures
Every summer, our producers leave the valley to spend several months in isolated chalets deep in the mountains. Up there, life follows a different rhythm, according to the seasons and the daily chores. But over and above the work, the mountain pastures are also a human adventure, with moments of sharing and tasty anecdotes.
Nature
Between vast pastures, forests and unspoilt hills, the birthplace of L'Etivaz PDO offers an exceptional setting where people, animals and a rich and varied flora live side by side. This unique landscape, which has been tended for centuries by mountain farmers, is much more than just a backdrop: it reflects their know-how and deep respect for the environment.

Because Etivaz à Rebibes PDO is extra-hard, it's not easy to cut... The best remedy is to take a plane and slide the cheese over it! The result is delicate, pretty rolls that will look great on your cheese platters or as an aperitif.
