A privileged immersion in the world of L'Etivaz PDO to discover all the passion that surrounds our Perle Vaudoise.

We invite you to enjoy a unique sensory experience, a day of immersion that will take you from the intimacy of a mountain pasture to the heart of our maturing cellars.

6.00am - 12.00pm

Meet us at the Caves de L'Etivaz PDO. A member of our team will accompany you to one of our mountain chalets in the Vaud pre-Alps.

Welcomed by a passionate producer and his family, discover a typical morning in an alpine chalet: milking the cows, preparing the boiler and the wood fire and breakfast with the family.

Watch L'Etivaz PDO being made and experience every stage of this traditional production process.

12.00 - 2.30 pm

Enjoy lunch on the mountain pasture in the company of the producers' family or in a pretty mountain pasture refreshment bar.

Afterwards, enjoy a short digestive walk in the surrounding area to discover the local flora.

Back to the village of L'Etivaz.

Accompanied by our expert cheesemakers, enter the heart of the L'Etivaz PDO maturing cellars and follow the journey of the cheeses from their arrival to their sale.

Then visit the exhibition area, which gives an entertaining account of the incredible history of the Cooperative, born of the visionary spirit of 30 producers in the 1930s.

Taste Etivaz PDO in a variety of ways. After the emotions of the day, all your discoveries will allow you to fully appreciate the richness and complexity of this exceptional cheese.
